1940's Cheater Quilted Jacket in Cream and Blue floral. Cheater quilts are made of a top fabric made to look like a pieced quilt top but instead is a seamless fabric quilted to batting and backing. This is a rare quilt! Lining in blue cotton that resembles denim. Mending on the inside completed and covered with a flower patch matching the print. One size fits most! This jacket is oversized with a shawl collar that covers your bum and hits the front of your upper thigh. Model is 5'7 and standard medium/large for context.
All jackets are constructed from both vintage and antique quilts where the fabric can sometimes show this. With our mission to intentionally repurpose these well made textiles, sometimes the fabric can have light discoloration or wear. They are well made, and well loved pieces of our heritage. All of our quilts are washed in advance and we recommend to dry clean in the future.
